Reception Entrance Songs!

I assume you are not asking them to dance like some sort of show monkeys so is there a genre of music you prefer?

I like the song "This is What You Came For" Calvin Harris Feat. Rhianna, I am using this for FH & I but haven't quite figured out what the rest of the bridal party will be using yet...

We let the bridal party members choose their own entrance songs that they wanted to dance in to. They chose songs like Party Rock Anthem, Turn Down for What, etc.

We are walking out to This is How We Do It! Lol

Depending on the genre of music you like, you could do something AC/DC's Thunderstruck, or another rock piece. FH and I decided on the Imperial March from Star Wars (because why the heck not?) If you go the classical route you could do a fanfare of some kind, like Aaron Copland's Fanfare for a Common Man (fanfares and marches are always fun entry stuff!). So those are my suggestions. It all really honestly depends on the genre of music you like I hope this helps!

How are you all choosing multiple songs for entrances? Are your entrances really going to take half an hour, or are you only paying clips of each one? Seems weird either way...

We did something different and did "Ode To Oi"...very up beat song with a great beat and everyone had a blast dancing out to it.

Hallie, usually it is just short clips from songs. Some people will have a different song for each couple entering into the reception, some people play one song for everyone, and some do one song for everyone else in the bridal party, and a separate song for the Bride and Groom's entrance. I think it boils down to personal preference. I have seen it done all different ways.

We are doing a Mardi Gras style entrance. Just masks and upbeat Mardi Gras music.

We are doing "Marry You" by Bruno Mars.
