Reception Entrance & Cake Songs

It's probably too cliche, but I love Cake by Flo Rida

I was gonna kick it back a few decades for cake and use James Taylor “how sweet it is to be loved by you”
I haven’t solidified our entrance plan or song yet but there are a lot of lists on Pinterest to generate ideas.

We aren’t going to do an entrance song, just have the dj announce it, and are doing sugar sugar by the archies for our cake cutting.

We entered the reception to “You Make My Dreams” by Hall and Oates

Mine is a really popular one. I entered to Bruno Mars marry you

We using Golden Years by David Bowie for our entrance song and then using Better Together by Jack Johnson for our cake cutting.

I’m struggling with these two selections as well, so I am definitely going to follow these comments ❤️I went to a wedding and they played pour some sugar on my during cake cutting and it was actually pretty fun lol.

We did “Crazy in Love” (Beyoncé and Jay-Z) for our entrance and “Sugar” (Maroon 5) for cake cutting. Earlier this year, I went to a wedding that used Justin Bieber’s “Yummy” for their cake cutting.

I took a lot of input from my husband for these songs. He likes more music than I do and I thought this was a good way to make sure his tastes were included.
One of his favorite songs is Uptown Funk so we entered to that. It’s fun and upbeat and helps set the tone for the party. The. We did How Sweet it is to Loved by You for our cake cutting. And to be honest I don’t even remember hearing the music.

I love “On Top of the World” by Cristina Perry and Ed Sheeren as an entrance song...
