Reception Dress

I wore mine the entire night since I was lazy to change aha

I plan on wearing my dress the whole night. I wish I had more opportunities to wear my dress other than just one night, so I'm planning to wear it as long as possible.

I originally planned on wearing my dress all night. But after postponing to a little over a year, I decided that a reception dress would be a nice “postponement present”. So last month I bought a 2nd dress. Now I’ll change dresses after dinner into one that’s lighter weight and easier to move in. I’ve had my original dress since May 2019 and now the wedding isn’t until October 2021.

Most brides wear their wedding dress the entire day/night, since you really only get to wear it the one day and take advantage as long as possible.

I’m only wearing one dress.

I paid over $500. Even though I am having a minimony and were taking our friends out to dinner after I am wearing that dress. I have never spent that much on a dress lol.

I’m definitely changing dresses.

Ill Be Changing Dresses

I’m wearing my wedding dress the entire night. I just can’t see myself paying that much for a dress just to wear for an hour.

Entire night! Love it too much to only wear it for a 20 minute ceremony and pics

I bought a dress to change into but enjoyed being in my wedding dress so much that I never changed. It’s only one day so enjoy it (unless it’s super heavy or uncomfortable).

I had planned on wearing my dress all night, but now that I have a whole additional year to wait, I’m thinking a second dress will give me a fun element to look forward to/ plan. Plus, the more I think about it, I’m thinking my dress will be great for the ceremony & reception, but the train (even though not very long) isn’t something I’m going to want to contend with while bar hopping on Bourbon St. after the reception. And I don’t think tulle looks good bustled. So a 2nd party dress seems like a great (and practical) pandemic gift to myself after this is all over!

I want to wear my dress the entire night but I plan to dance a lot! My dress is very fitted (fit and flare style) and I don’t think I’ll be able to dance in it like I want. I am considering changing but haven’t decided on a 2nd dress yet. I’ve been leaning towards a formal jumpsuit. My wedding was postponed as well so I have time to decide.
