Are you ladies planning on doing an outfit change? if so, how much do you plan on spending for your second dress?

I’m still considering changing outfits for the reception, and if I were to change into anything it would be the white dress I’m going to wear at my bridal showers. I’m also considering getting a two-piece dress with a detachable skirt covering the shorter skirt underneath; sorry if that doesn’t make sense haha

I am not. I wouldn't spend much though if I were. I do see the appeal of it because being in a shorter or slimmer dress that's easier to move around would be more ideal at a reception

Nope, my wedding dress is for my wedding day! Not just an hour, and pictures!
But, if you are, I wouldn't spend much, also depending on how much you spent on the first dress.... Seems like a waste to spend $1000 on a dress for a couple hours and change into a new dress that was also expensive!

No, I'm not! I love my dress & only get to wear it once so I'm staying in it the whole time. I'm only wearing my veil for the ceremony though!

I'm planning on changing into a traditional Chinese wedding gown for the reception to honor my heritage! Looking to spend under $200 for it!

Definitely did not do an outfit change - why fall in LOVE with a dress (which, is kind of the point lol) if you're only going to wear it for an hour?! I wanted a dress that took me from formal to PARTY. The dress I chose had a removable lining in the torso - so it gave it a more party "feel" at the reception

I am changing. My dress is full with a long train and my wedding is on NYE so I'll be changing so I can party!!. The dress I like is $300 but I'm hoping to find it or one like it for under $100 on some online store. I spent almost 2k for my ceremony dress and I really can't spend a lot for this one
