Reception Dress - When to change

I would change it during cocktail hour (if youre having one), or between the ceremony and reception. You will probably not gonna have much time to change otherwise!

I plan to change into my reception dress after most of the formalities (dinner, dances, toasts if we have any). That way I can boogie all night long.

I'm in that same boat! I hate to take my dress off, but I want to me comfortable! I chose this dress as my potential second dress. I'm still trying to figure out when to change, myself; however, I'm thinking maybe after dinner and before the cake cutting. I definitely want to do the first dance in my dress!

I am planning on changing to my second dress after the first dance 💃. You want to make sure you look like a princess on your first dance.

I would do it after your first dance.

I have two dresses also. Im changing after we take pics before the reception.

I am planning to change after pictures right before we are announced. We have a dance routine and I want to be able to move freely and can’t do that in my ball gown.
