Tonight I’m going to my venue to gather some specific details and I want to make sure I take advantage of my trip. So far, I know I need to count how many *extra* tables they have (welcome table, cake table, DJ table, gifts card, and tea/coffee), see if they have linens/skirts for the buffet tables and measure said tables so I can accurately get linens for each. Is there anything else I should ask/ do while I’m there?? I also want to do a mock up of my centerpieces to make sure it looks good on the actual table and not just in my head lol thanks!!

I would ask to see their bridal suite if they have one or like if you can store stuff there before hand so you don't have to lug things around day of

Aside from linens, ask what else will be provided to you whether that be china, flatware, glasses, candles, etc. Also ask what services your venue's staff will provide; will they take care of set up/tear down? Or does your bridal party need to arrive early to help?

If they have linens, china, etc. ask to see them. If you don't like them, find out the cost to upgrade and what vendors you can use (our venue requires we choose from a list). Also ask about chairs if you haven't already seen them, and if you need chair covers or sashes ask about vendors for those.
If you are bringing in an outside caterer, ask to see the space where they will set up, prepare food etc. See if they have a recommended list.
Do they provide a dance floor? If there's carpet you might want to consider one.
Also ask about parking for guests if you haven't yet.
