So I had my hair and makeup trial last night which I was really looking forward to. I should preface with, I definitely made a mistake and let my hair person give me a makeup person that she trusted and worked with rather than choosing my own, however I did look her up and her pictures looked pretty good from what I saw.
Anyway it was AWFUL. Like, all of my worst features are highlighted instead of my best, and it's very sloppy. I like my own makeup better any day. This is even after I asked her to lighten up the eyes. Initially she didn't do much of anything to my brows, so I asked her to darken them a little and . . . It was so bad I'm having trouble judging my hair pics and I had to fix it before going out to dinner.
