REALLY BAD MAKEUP TRIAL & pretty good hair trial

The hair trial went well, however I was in love with it while I was there, but looking at the pictures less so? She was playing around with it a lot so it will look a lot better the day of. I think part of what I don't like is how short it is because of how tight the curls are, but then again I think she said that was done because as the day goes on they will fall a little. Here's a few of the looks we did

The eyeshadow line is pretty jagged and not blended at all...your skin looks nice, but that might just be you naturally haha. I agree your eyebrows would look a bit better to be defined.

The last picture was taken after when I went out to dinner, I think I like how the waves look here after they have settled some more.

Hi! It's not THAT bad but, she was too heavy with the Eyeshadow, whatever she did, very weird, not sure why she didn't darken your eyebrows, that's a MUST! and she didn't contour... your lipstick looks pretty.. definitely don't hire her again!

The makeup is not good. I agree. I think you could find much better.

I like the hair with the tighter curls, so I'd ask her to use more product to insure it stays put all night.

The hair person really wants me to give the makeup person a second chance but I don't think I want to. This is nothing like the photos I showed her, is way too heavy, doesn't look professional at all to me. I know friendors are discouraged but I'm going to take my friend up on her offer now to do my makeup, she's a million times better than this person and just got her cosmetology license! And if something happened and I had to do my own I'd still like it better than this.

That eyeshadow line cut off is alarming. I do like that color on you though, it's very unique. I also think the red lip looks amazing.

The makeup is definitely a distraction from the hair! You are beautiful, but the makeup is overwhelming and distracts from your beauty. The hair is gorgeous, though!

Great hair, not a fan of the makeup. If the MUA thought that was ok I would look elsewhere.

Yeah I definitely would not be taking a chance to give her another shot. If she can't do it well the first time, who's to say she won't mess it up on your wedding day? I like the hair though! Reminds me of a 1920s movie star Pretty!

The hair looks amazing but make up is terrible. I don't see eyebrows and those are the frame to your face, also the bone eyebrow should be highlighted and it looks very dark. Get someone else because if they didn't donut good the first time I doubt it will get any better as you already said you didn't like it

I think your eye shadow is too dark, your completion is so light it's just not suitable.

I agree with you on the make up. It doesn't seem like a "oh just put some high lighter here" or "I'd like a different color lip" issue, it seems to be an issue of lack of skill on the MUA's part. I do really like the hair though!

I don't like the way she did your eye shadow at all, but your lips and skin look nice! You definitely need more brows. I love your hair and your veil! You look so glamorous.

That shop looks a little off. I wouldn't go with her. The make up doesn't do you justice like it should. Good luck finding someone better=)

The make up isn't the best. I would definitely keep searching. The way she did your eyeshadow just baffles me.

@Lisa She didn't use as much product as she will the day of because she was messing with my hair a lot and trying different styles, plus she kind of fluffed it out a little before I left anyway since it look kinda funky without the veil on.

Even the lips ended up being bad, the gloss was bleeding/smearing like crazy by the time I drove home and I didn't even eat or drink or anything! I put on a similar color in a NARS matte pencil before I left.

I don't know how she's been doing all these photo shoots and stuff when she can't even blend eyeshadow okay. Also she asked if I wanted wings like I do regularly and were in some of my inspo pics and I said yes and she did two weird little smudges on the ends instead.

I had to fix it a little before I was willing to go out with it. I think even though I messed up my liner it still looks better than the before . . . but I am aware that I'm not a makeup artist!
