Real vs. Fake Flowers

People won't notice aha. Some fake flowers look really awesome and real

Fake flowers aren't tacky! If you really prefer real ones, check out your local grocery store florist - they'll cost much less than a traditional florist!

Fake flowers look so realistic now! If you get fresh flowers for diy, you’ll be rushing to get everything out together either the morning of or night before your wedding. Fake flowers you can take your time and rearrange or add to as you see fit. These are mine from lings moments, they’re foam, and look just as amazing in person!

I just ordered samples from lings moment. Have heard great things about these and I can't wait to put together some bouquets, boutonnieres, and maybe even accents to the cake and centerpieces. I'm doing birch twigs in vases with water as well as wired garland and a floating candle, but I may add some flowers with the leftovers.

View Quoted Comment I glued large safety pins to the back. I heard from someone else on here that they worked better than the corsage pins and weren’t as “floppy”. My wedding is in October, but I’ll be packing my hot glue gun in my emergency bag, just in case! Lol

View Quoted Comment The awesome thing about these is that the foam is easy to reshape! Some of the roses came a little smushed in the box. I just put a hair dryer on low heat and took a couple passes and they looked perfect! (They’re pictured there in the bouquet). I’ve had these flowers for about a month so far, and no discoloring at all. My wedding isn’t til October, so I have the bouquets in vases with plastic bags over them to keep the dust from accumulating lol.

I did fake flowers and people honestly thought they were real!

This topic comes up a lot. I say real flowers. Fake flowers can cost just as much if not even more than real flowers.

Thank you! We used to have two Joann's stores here in Nevada but they went out of business! I've been getting my flowers from Michaels, Hobby Lobby and Amazon

Some fake flowers look real, My reception will have all fake flower center pieces and floral backdrops. You can't even notice the difference, and also its much cheaper compared to the real ones. It's really up to your preference
