Real, I am lucky enough to have grown up on a farm, so we are planting many sunflowers and wildflowers and making an event of picking & arranging some rustic bouquets on the wedding day.

I'm using the centerpieces from the venue so those are fake but who cares lol. Everything else will be real!! Just posted about this, but I sent in a deposit to reserve my date with my florist today. She quoted me $900 for a ton of stuff including shipping and taxes

I'm using fake flowers for my bouquet. I do not want to spend crazy amount of money on real flowers which I'm only holding to walk down the aisle.

Fake, It was important that my mom and I get to do projects together and making bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres together made it way more special and fun.

Real. I wouldn't consider doing fake(unless I was allergic). You can tell they are fake and they look cheap to me.... Real flowers just add "life" as someone else described, and bring elegance and so much more to a wedding. I felt it was important to have gorgeous flowers as they really add to the space, so I researched a lot, and talked to other brides about who they used and I found a great florist who quoted me at far lower than my budget and we are actually going to be able to add in extras that I didn't think we could afford!! If you can't afford real flowers and aren't in love with the way fake flowers look then maybe think about doing centerpieces and bouquets that don't actually include flowers. There are plenty of creative things you could do instead. It will just take time and thought (and maybe Pinterest haha)

I'm doing fake (paper, specifically) because I have allergies and I'd rather have something I don't have to dry to keep

Would it be terrible if my bouquet is real and everyone else's are fake?

Making my own flowers. They are cloth and paper. Reason 1: Cost.

    Reason 2: I enjoy doing

    Reason 3: It's unique

Reason 4: Lots of allergies in the family.

My bouquets are fake because it was cheaper and it's a nice keepsake. My centerpieces will be grocery store flowers because it's cheaper and I don't mind those dying.

I will be using real flowers. My bouquet will be gifted to a hospice after the wedding, and the BMs will have that option, or choose to keep them. I wanted to spread some of the joy.

We're using real ones just because my FMIL is a florist and I don't really want to have to keep a fake bouquet around for years afterward

I only had my bouquet and was quoted $90 so I bought the flowers and my mom made the bouquet. I'm so happy with it and it turned out beautiful!

Real flowers. I can't find any fakes that I think look real enough. Plus we will donate them to our church and hospital.

Real. I want the look, feel, and smell of fresh flowers. The luxury of real flowers is what a formal once in a lifetime event calls for.
