So like the title says, I'm curious how many other couples let (are going to let) their ring bearer carry the real rings down the aisle. I'm concerned something may happened to them and would rather have the little guy carry fake rings. However, the FH is throwing a fit and stating "What's the...

So like the title says, I'm curious how many other couples let (are going to let) their ring bearer carry the real rings down the aisle. I'm concerned something may happened to them and would rather have the little guy carry fake rings. However, the FH is throwing a fit and stating "What's the point" if he doesn't carry the real rings. For reference, the little guy will be 4 by our wedding date.

    Mine will be 5 at the time and he's carrying fake rings.

    I rarely see a small child with real rings. I'll spare you the ugly story of the 4 year old, the real rings, Point Pleasant Beach and the metal detector.
