Like they act like your wedding doesn't exist or change the subject to theirs when you've been asked about your own? Or anything worse? How did you deal? I had it happen. I don't usually...

Has anyone ever had a fellow bride who always made it about them and couldn't let you have the spotlight at all? Like they act like your wedding doesn't exist or change the subject to theirs when you've been asked about your own? Or anything worse? How did you deal? I had it happen. I don't usually feel the need to want attention, but of course I'm excited about everything with planning, my dreams are coming true. I don't get why it's hard to share the spotlight a little?

A girl I work with is like this. I found out we won free engagement pics by the same photographer but anytime we talked wedding talk it was super annoying. Everything was about her and about her parents are paying everything yada yada. I just don't talk about wedding stuff anymore. Conflict ended.

Honestly I’m dealing with that now and have no idea how to approach it either. She’s my cousin and my best friend but I knew she was jealous I got engaged first. Now she set her date 3 months ahead of mine and today she asked to use the photographer I booked (who’s my friends and very very good) I mean I want her day to be wonderful and I want everything to be beautiful for her too but I don’t wanna look or feel second rate. Makes it hard to share my resources....
