We used real, but it comes down to budget and personal preference. I always recommend real flowers for the bride's bouquet, because that bouquet is in 75% of the photos

Our wedding was unique I. That we didn’t have a lot of flowers and the one we did have were my bouquet which was made out of silk and paper. Gorgeous. We did a lot of lighting and crystals in lieu of flowers.

That’s a nice touch. We had flower petals everywhere though. Like 30,0000 of them and I still have caroal tunnel from separating them all. But it was a nice touch light blue ivory and navy so gorgeous.

I’m using artificial flowers. I love the white roses that has the fake water on them I think it looks to pretty when they are decorated with other flowers as they will be used for my head table.

I chose artificial because I couldn’t bring myself to buying thousands of dollars worth of flowers that are just going to die. I also chose artificial because I can then sell them to another bride and make some, not all, of my money back.Real flowers or artificial? 2

My family owns an artificial flower business so it just felt right to me that my family did them so I had them forever in their same vibrant color and design.

I am using premium silk and foam flowers from a company that rent all the flowers. I am saving almost 80% on my budget and there is no waste after the event, their flowers are sustainable, beautiful and smell delicious. I am choosing rose and peonies for my wedding and the scents are the same. To give you an idea in price, a normal boutonniere cost around $35 with this company I can rent it for only $6.

Also, I was able to see all their flower's collection at the North Carolina Expo Bride and Wedding and I could not believe how real the flowers look like. I am adding the link for you to check them out, they ship the flowers all over the US and also they offer installation and tear down. Borrow the Blooms is offering $200 off on rentals when you make an appointment with them in July, I hope this helps! Good luck, Nina.

Yes, that is a great idea, in my case I am renting the flowers with a company called Borrow The Blooms so I don't have to worry about selling them afterwards.

Both, some depend on if they’re available in January and the cost.

At first I wanted real, then I was going to do a mixture but then found this site called Lings moments and omg these are the most beautiful and realistic looking foam flowers. I’m also really crafty and made all my own centerpieces, all my bouquets (mine and bridesmaids), and the ceremony decorations from this site, it’s all so pretty, cost 1/3 of real flowers and I plan to give out the decorations to family as little gifts after the wedding and keep a few for memories for myself. I don’t think there’s a right or wrong answer…it’s personal preference. We are going with real bc one of my besties owns a florist shop. However, Sam’s Club has the most beautiful real flowers that are not super expensive, some are pre made bouquets, arch arrangements, centerpieces, etc. - https://www.samsclub.com/c/flowers/1240?xid=cat-_headerGrid_0_3

Whatever you decide on will be perfect!

We are doing a destination wedding. I looked into how much real flowers would be, and I couldn't believe how much the resort would charge for just a couple of bouquets. We decided on artificial which we will bring ourselves and spent a FRACTION of the cost. They are beautiful and can''t wait to use them.

I’m using artificial flowers for centerpieces, signs, bridesmaids bouquets, and boutonnières. Mostly for the cost savings, but also for color choice. I have a mix of flowers from Ling’s Moment Sunset Terracotta, and high quality flowers I found at craft store sales. I’m still on the fence for the bridal bouquet, but ceremony floral will be real (part of the venue deal) and will be reused for sweetheart table and buffet decor after.

For ours we will be doing artificial flowers. We are on a budget with just having a planned surgery unexpectedly sooner than wanted. Plus I can use the flowers for decor around the house too
