Reading for Ceremony

Sarah, on January 21, 2020 at 11:30 AM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 2

Hey everyone!!

So loooong story short - my FH has 2 adult children (I have none) we did not ask them to be in the wedding party (many reasons) but I want to ask his daughter to read an Irish Blessing during the ceremony. She recently expressed she would like to be more involved and I think this would be perfect and so lovely.

How do I ask ?? Just through a text?? A card?

Is it okay if I pick out the blessing myself? I found one I really like.

Help!!!! Smiley heart

Sarah!! This would be soooo lovely!! I love the Irish Blessing (ok, now I want it at my wedding lol). I have no advice on how to ask her - probably no right or wrong answer ha ha. If she is local.... could you meet out for coffee? Otherwise I think a text is totally appropriate, and she will be touched. Good luck!!

Hey there, Sarah! I think this is so lovely! What blessing is it?

Is she local? If so, could you go for coffee or lunch and ask her over this?
