" Today,
I take you as you are in loving what I know of you now and trusting what I
don’t yet know. I promise to listen to you and learn from you for you are my
greatest teacher. I will celebrate your triumphs and mourn your losses as
though they are my own. What is mine is yours as today we become one. "
I took inspiration from this;
" I take you to be my spouse. I promise to choose you every day, to love you in word and deed, to do the hard work of making now into always. To laugh with you, cry with you, grow with you, and create with you. To honor the divinity in you, of you, and around you. To be your kin and your partner in all of life’s adventures. Loving what I know of you and trusting what I don’t yet know, I give you my hand. I give you my love. I give you myself. Will you give me yourself? Will you come to travel with me?"
But wasn't really my style & seemed longer than my fiancé's chosen vows.
I think this sums us up well as things in our lives are constantly changing and have been through so much horrible stuff together , some I feel that was made to test us (as in make or break us) but didn't want to sound negative. When he's down I'm down and when he's happy i am... even when i am suffering a bad day.
We're constantly learning off of each other and he helps me to be a better person. We've always had the saying of "what is mine is yours" - was going to put a joke about underwear but thought it was too crude , may include this in a letter to him of the morning of letter. We always compliment each other when we do something new or overcome something (Like getting a good report from work, passing driving test etc)
