Re-do or Keep Going

Hi, we will continue with our original anniversary. We already consider ourselves a married couple in every way except on paper. You could do both dates and have separate traditions for each.

Do both! That is what we plan on doing 🥰

Most people I know say they’ve been married for however many years but together for the number of years they’ve been actually together.

While we don't celebrate our dating anniversary much, we still acknowledge it. Our wedding anniversary is kinda the bigger one now though.

Much like Hannah, we acknowledge our dating anniversary and will celebrate our wedding anniversary.

We don’t celebrate a dating anniversary. But, instead of Valentine’s Day, we celebrate the day we met (Feb 7, 2013) because it was a funny encounter.... including the fact that it was at WalMart, of all places 😝🤦🏽‍♀️ (We even named the day). So we’ll always celebrate that day along with the wedding anniversary.

We plan on acknowledging our dating anniversary and celebrating our wedding anniversary.

I’m with Samantha. Husband says years together (7 years) is basically years married because it was for the long haul. The paper just makes everything official (1 year). We do acknowledge our dating anniversary, but do celebrate married date.
