Mrs.SoonToBeW., on March 27, 2013 at 11:10 PM Posted in Planning 0 3

I need to come up with a old school song play list for my reception

Heere are some of the songs I have---Not many (LOL)

Lets Stay together

Love and Happiness

Lets get it on

I want this type of music played...but I 'm not good with songs and FI isn't really helping (LOL), even though he knows songs beter than I do.

Mrs.SoonToBeW - your DJ should be able to provide a list for you for sure. However, here are a few links that may help get the thought process working:

Yes I am having an old school hour at my reception and my dj has a large catalog for me to choose from if I ever get around to going through it. Depends on what type of old school you want. I'd just go to google and type old school R&B or Soul or Old school rap to get some ideas or type in some artist or group names you love and see what comes up. Just think back to the stuff you liked to dance too in high school and early 20's (if you are that old like I am) and that should help as well.

Ok, I just re-read your post. Look at some LL Cool J and Beastie Boys, Run DMC, Digital Underground, EPMD, Cool Moe D for old school rap.
