With handwritten thank you cards, I know it's best to keep it personalized and say thank you for the gift of "handtowels, knives, xyz" but it seems weird to me to say "Thank you for $$$dollar amount" How do you phrase, and make individual, thank you cards for cash gifts?

    Thank them for the generous gift and tell them what you plan to spend it on.
