Rain rain go away!

Im a violinist and I would really recommend just doing the indoor option if it’s raining or there are dark clouds or thunder within an hour before the wedding. I’ve seen wet guests with muddy shoes and dresses, no availability for instruments or sound equipment (unless you have a tent for that) and you can’t hear people’s vows/ceremony so it’s rushed and not romantic. I have seen the clear umbrellas which is cute in theory but it’s still pretty miserable. Sometimes it only rains for a few moments and you can just delay and wipe the chairs down.

Date twin!!! I am also having an outdoor ceremony with the option of moving inside depending on weather. I live in Maine and the weather here can be very unpredictable. I've religiously been checking the weather for a few weeks now and so far it's changed 3 times. Right now it's mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and a high of 67° that day. I have finally come to the realization that if it rains it rains and all I care about it getting to marry my best friend. Congratulations on your wedding day!!

Same! Wedding is this Saturday and the weather is calling for rain all day! It’s the one thing I can’t control and it’s sucks! Thinking about the clear umbrellas so we’re able to do pictures outside but if this rain doesn’t clear up we will have to move the ceremony inside. Fingers crossed and prayers to Mother Nature that she holds off for us both!! Congratulations to you!
