Questions re: colored wedding dress

Hey all, so I decided I want to wear navy blue to my wedding. Or maybe ink blue. I've never felt attractive in white and don't want to worry about staining my dress. Hoping there are other women on here who are wearing colored dresses. I am just wondering what you're thoughts are on a few things.

1) What are you thoughts on guests wearing the same color as you? If you are asking others not to, how are you asking them to stray away from your color?
2) On a related note, are you comfortable with others wearing white if they want to?3) What colors are you wearing to other wedding related events?4) Are you getting wedding lingerie? If yes, same color as your dress? Or white?

My dress was light blue. I, too, don't think I look good in white.
1. I didn't care what color others wore. (No one wore the same color that I noticed.) As others have said on similar posts, everyone knows who the bride is.
2. Same answer- didn't really care what others wore. (No one wore solid white.)
3. I wore black, blue, and gray to various events. I just picked outfits I liked and didn't stress the color.
4. I wore nude undergarments.

Hi Maya! I wouldn't stress about it too much!! You'll be really identifiable as the bride no matter what color you wear! 💖
I'd only worry about guests wearing navy dresses if you're having a Black Tie wedding - otherwise I assume your dress will be much more formal than anything your guests will wear!
And you can wear whatever you want to the other pre-wedding events! I've seen a lot of brides in patterns and florals recently. 😍

Since this is my second wedding and we are getting married on the beach I have picked a light blue with white lace dress. Honestly I don't care if others wear white as long as it's not a wedding dress or something that tries to steal the show. That would be rude.
At my first wedding I wore white and my bridesmaids did too. I read somewhere that it confused the evil spirits so they would leave the bride alone.
