Question re: rose petals for aisle

I bought 4000 on ebay for $17.98, free shipping. They came from Hong Kong but the shipping was shockingly fast. I have no idea how many are needed for the aisle. We just figured we would use a bunch at the reception as well. The petals were sold in groups of 2000 for 8.99 but we doubled the order.

I can't say how much u'll need as I feel it depends on how much of it you'll want. But I bought 2000 petals for a lot less than $30. I think you should check some more, you might find a cheaper seller.

We used fresh. We had 2 dozen roses that we took the petals from and we probably only needed a half dozen. And we had 2 flower girls. But our aisle was pretty short after we had to move everything inside. It was probably 10-12 rows of chairs.

I can't remember for sure but when I was talking with the florist about using them down the aisle I want to say that she suggested a bag of 100 so I would think 2000 would be plenty.
