Public beach wedding

Call the court that owns the park and ask. Usually if you set anything up you must pay. Check officiants with elopement pkgs in your area as they usually use the beach.

I got married on a public beach. They told us no to arches & such. But really, the scenery was decoration enough. All we did was use pinwheels to mark the “aisle” and it was still a gorgeous ceremony.

I was going to buy some chairs (10 or so hopefully used) to put on beach for older peeps and people who can’t stand. You can rent arches from hobby lobby but I’m not sure of logistics. But granny was coming and she’s 98 so we opted out. We’re doing first look on beach and then ceremony about an hour away to suburbs (we live in Chicago).

We did our civil ceremony at the beach (his late father's favorite spot) but i know here in NY they have SO MANY rules and regulations. so we just walked up - did the ceremony with our witnesses and children and left. no chairs, decorations or flowers. i would definitely make sure its okay with the town before you plan anything.
