PSA: don't have groomsmen get ready in grooms hotel room :(

cantwaittobemrs, on October 4, 2010 at 11:01 AM Posted in Planning 0 3

So this is what I learned from my wedding. If the groom and groomsmen get ready in your husbands room, you will come back to an unmade bed, half eaten pizza, and empty beers. My husband did not understand why I started crying. Yes, I overreacted...but after sleeping only 6 hours over two days I was an emotional time bomb. He knows how much I can't stand sleeping a dirty bedroom, I make the bed and straighten our bedroom everyday. But, I should have thought about that too. Besides that it was wonderful. He cleaned it up, and we "re-did" our wedding night entrance. I just thought you all would find this information useful.

Ahh..never thought of that! But Me and my ladies stayed at our house the night before, so before we left to go to the ceremony site, I tidied up and made the bed, cleared the entrance way, etc. But thanks for mentioning it to other wives to be!

We're staying in a hotel for the wedding night, and the groom crew are probably getting ready at our apartment. The funny thing is that this will remind ME to straighten up...I'm a much bigger slob than FS!
