Pros and Cons of Fake Flowers?

I am using fake flowers because I am not a fan of real flowers and feel like they are a waste of money. That is just my personal opinion though. I ordered some cute ones from amazon that look amazing!

I did fake ones because they were so much cheaper aha. Honestly fake ones now look so good! So I only had flowers for boutonnières and corsages and bouquets. Here’s my bouquets for the bridesmaids and me. The small one is theirs and the larger one is mine. It was $2 for the bridesmaid ones. The larger one is made of 3 of the bridesmaid ones. The bridesmaid ones were already assembled as is. Purchased from Michaels

We used real flowers because we liked the way they looked better and high quality fake flowers tend to be even more expensive than real.

I’m planning on using sola wood flowers. I don’t like the idea of spending so much on real flowers that are just going to die. I bought a 1000 piece random assortment on a big sale for around $200. I will definitely not use all. I haven’t assembled them yet, but I have watched some videos and done some dying and it seems somewhat easy. I’m also not planning on having a ton of flowers.

I’m renting my fake flowers from somethingborrowedblooms.com. We will have fake flowers for bouquets, boutonnières, corsages, centerpieces and decor. We are using real rose petals for the aisle runner, on the tables with the centerpieces and for a petal toss.

I'm also using fake flowers, but renting them from Something Borrowed Blooms. Their flowers look so real in photos, and definitely waaaay cheaper than using real flowers. They also have other decor items, light garlands, lanterns, floral centerpieces, etc...

I wanted real flowers but my florist (my FW's grandma) isn't able to get flowers in the colors that I want for the my bouquet so we will be using silk.

I'm using fake flowers for decor and real flowers for the personal flowers - bouquets, boutonnierres and corsages. Pictures of some of the decor that I've completed are below.

This is one of the arrangements that will go on the pillars/columns at the beginning of the aisle. I got the flowers from Michael's during a 70% off sale.

This is my reception centerpiece (please excuse the tags). These flowers are from Ling's Moment.

These rings will be placed around the lanterns lining the aisle. These flowers are from Ling's Moment also. Amazon also sells Ling's Moment flowers.
