Hey everyone!

How did your future spouse proposal, or how did you proposal?

Drops some pics and tell us your story. I Smiley heart love stories!

My FH sent me on a small scavenger hunt to different places we love or places we had specials moments at to collect boxes. Inside the boxes were puzzle pieces. At the last stop, he gave me this beautiful speech. He told me to open my last box which had the last puzzle piece and my engagement ring. He then, proceeded to drop to one knee and propose 'the question'.

Loved every moment of it!! I cried the entire day throughout the whole adventure lol.

We were walking on the beach for sunrise with my parents.

    Backstory:
I had NOO clue he had any plans to propose anytime soon, we had talked about it but didnt think he was financially there. His mom had been messing with him for a while to propse already, so he thought it would be funny to take a fake proposal picture. I was not on board cause i dont like joking about it. After 1 pic he was like let's try it again you need to be more convincing and this time he actually had the ring out 😊

He picked the ring out all by himself and had asked my dad for his blessing 2 months prior ❤ I cant wait to marry him!

I love all these cute stories!! WW has for sure become my morning coffee routine, love stories and wedding planning are the best way to start my days!

I was actually sick with the flu when my FH proposed. lol

He took me out for a walk in one of local scenic area's for me to get some fresh air and maybe getting out would help me feel better. We walked around and looked at a few things and while I had my back turned reading about something he had gotten down on one knee. When I turned around I saw him and to be honest, I know he used my full name and asked me to marry him, but I couldn't tell you exactly what else he said. I was so shocked and happy. It for sure made me feel better!!

Johnny and I try and do alot of new things together. so the day he proposed was one year from the day he first told me he loved me. he told me he had things planned and I wasn't allowed to plan anything that day. he was taking me somewhere. that day. we drove to the train station bound for NYC. this is the mid if dec. so all of time square and everything is lit up for Christmas. we walked around and window shop thinking this was just an early Christmas gift as I love Christmas and so of course we had to go fo rockafeller plaza and see the Christmas trees. so under the Christmas tree right after dark, as the lights were the best lighting. johnny Hugs me from behind while I'm watching ice skater and sparkling likes. and pulls out a emerald engagment right. drops to one need and asked me to be his forever. everyone around us cheer. and then the square played our song.

My FH accidentally "spilled the beans" a few days prior. At that point, i was pretty convinced that he was going to come up with a new plan, but he actually stuck with his original proposal plan, which was super sweet. He proposed to me after one of my performances (I'm a professional dancer), with my family and his mother around. He proposed with his beloved grandmother's engagement ring, which had to be written out of his sister's will. The ring was handmade for his grandmother and is well-known in his family. I've heard stories about the ring while we were dating, but I didn't think that it would one day be mine. He even asked for my mom and grandfather's blessing days beforehand. i'm so glad that family was a big part in this. While it wasn't a complete "shock", there were still surprise elements to it and it was really really special. The only thing going through my mind at the time was "I can't believe this is really happening!" Everyone proposal is different, just like every couple.

In August 2017, when discussing to take an overseas trip to Greece. Michael had the brilliant idea he would propose to Eddie; he began planning a surprise proposal. At that time he did not know that Santorini was one of the most beautiful of the Greek Islands and one of the top proposal and wedding destinations in the world.

Michael's first plan was to hire a local artist to build a sand sculpture with a "Will You Marry Me" design. Unfortunately, he quickly discovered the Greek Islands are all rocks; that idea was out. This would not deter him; he quickly came up with another idea.

In the months leading up to the proposal, Eddie discovered an expensive long distance charge; it was to Greece. "Michael, what's the phone charge to Greece for?" Yikes. "Uh, Uh, well, I hired a photographer to take some professional pictures of us in Santorini. We go on these trips to the most beautiful places in the world and our pictures are not the best, so I wanted to get a few good photos of us before we turn completely old and wrinkled." Eddie quickly responded, “Won't that just leave less money for a facelift?"

Shortly after that, Eddie misplaced his Texas A&M graduation ring. Eddie never misplaces anything and his most prized possession is that ring. You can imagine the panic in Michael when he quickly realized that Eddie would assume that he had borrowed it to get it sized for something else. Michael did not borrow the ring to get it sized. Luckily, after 24 hours of searching the entire house and calling in a detective with a metal detector, Eddie found his ring in the garbage can; the last and only place that had not been searched.

On Thursday, May 24th, Ruth, Michael's mother, came down with pneumonia once again and was placed back in the hospital. The next day Ruth was placed in ICU in critical condition. Michael had only told his sister, Ramona, and his friend, Mark, of his proposal plans in Santorini. Quickly after Ruth was stabilized with a ventilator, Michael told his mom of his plans to ask Eddie to marry him. Although she could not speak, tears streamed down her face and she gave him two thumbs up. After the ventilator was removed and Ruth was breathing on her own, the first thing she said to him in a very low and raspy voice was, "Finally, you got it right."

Four days later on Wednesday, May 30th, Michael's mother passed gracefully and peacefully in her home. It wasn't until later in the morning that Michael’s sister and family told him to go home and start packing. Although, it was not an easy decision to move forward with the trip, Eddie and Michael left the next day for Greece.

On June 8th 2018, Michael proposed to Eddie on a beautiful cliff overlooking Santorini and the Aegean Sea. The pictures capture this magical moment. And thankfully, Eddie said, “Yes”. Michael says he really had no choice. They know Lydia, Eddie’s mother, and Allen and Ruth, Michael's parents, looked down from heaven above with great joy.

In Mykonos a few days later on an early Sunday morning, the pair decided to go shopping for wedding rings. The shops were all closed except for one tiny men’s jewelry shop tucked away in a remote corner atop a stone pathway. In the shop, a pair of simple silver rings, with a Greek inscription captured their attention. The owner translated the inscription, "NOTHING STRONGER THAN LOVE". Immediately, both knew these would be their wedding rings. As we all know from our life experiences, there truly is "Nothing Stronger than Love".
