Proposals

We were on a Mexican cruise with his parents and he proposed to me on captains night (we were all dressed up) after dinner. We went to the top deck to "take picture" and his dad was sneakily recording. It's a really dark video because they didn't have the light on. They thought I would have suspected something. It was still really beautiful and so well thought out cause I had absolutely no idea what was going on so he did a good job keeping it all a secret.

FH proposed on 1/11/19 while we were in O’ahu Hawaii (Waikiki)

We were in the hotel room that evening getting ready to go out to a spot down the street. Before doing so, we decided to have a few drinks in the room. So FH took the bucket and said he was going to get some ice. He came back and put the bucket on the dresser and finished getting dress. When I got up to fill my glass with ice, I lifted the lid and my real “ice” 💍 was sitting in the open ring box at the bottom of the empty ice bucket. When I turned around crying, FH was on one knee and began saying how he loved me, etc. etc. The only thing I could say was “Are you for real? Are you for real? Are you for real?” Then I finally said YES!!!! and FH slipped the ring on my finger.

We were on vacation in Disney World at the Magic Kingdom. We were just going about our day and we had wanted to go to do a meet & greet with Rapunzel (my favorite princess) and he kept saying maybe later, let’s wait til your brother is here and I thought nothing of it. Later we got to go and he did it right there so we were lucky to get it photographed professionally ❤️

My FH proposed to me on Mary M Miller riverboat in Louisville KY, my hometown(I no longer live there). We went on a “tour” of the boat of which I thought we won, in hind sight he set it all up. We got to the very top, the Captians area, and the lady left and that’s when he got down on one knee! After it was all said and done we went back downstairs to wait for all the other guest to arrive for the dinner cruise. Then after the dinner cruise we went and changed and came back downstairs for another surprise, a horse and carriage ride around town.

My fiance proposed during a family trip to Paris. He had his sister hold the ring the whole trip - everyone was just waiting! We went outside to wait & he told me that he wanted to marry me & did I want to marry him. I said of course & he got down on one knee & displayed the most beautiful ring I've ever seen! There were people eating in a cafe behind us & they clapped & cheered! It was soooo special & sweet!

My fiancé asked me July 4th, 2017 in front of everyone who was on the beach with us watching. His best friend is a tattoo artist so he had him do this tattoo and later on I filled it in myself (hence why the check mark is awful lol). We’ve been engaged for 2 years now because we got pregnant and had a preemie who needed our attention rather then plan a wedding.
Now were 11 months out and I can’t wait 🥰🥰

That’s so awesom! My FH did the scavenger hunt for my 21st birthday along with the puzzle! FH made an infinity mirror for me at the place we had our 1st fancy date it’s also the place we had our 1st kiss

My Fiancé took me on a day trip about 2 hours away and we spent the day sight seeing, shopping, and really just having a day to ourselves. at the end we finished the evening with him proposing in the sky wheel, just us ❤️

My fiance and I had picked out an engagement ring together which I NEVER thought I would do lol but I told him I wanted him to still propose and suprise me! We went on a trip to celebrate our one year aniversery and before we went out for the night, in our hotel room he took his phone and turned on "our song" and started tearing up saying that he loves me and wants to spend his life with me. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him and of course I cried and said yes! It was nothing outlandish but it was a special moment between us that we will remember ❤

We were on vacation in Cabo for her birthday, the night before her actual birthday we were having dinner, she asked me to take a walk with her. We were looking over the railing at the ocean she said something and add I turned around there she was on one knee with the ring in hand, I later found out that she called my kids to ask for their blessing.

My FH had asked if we could do a date night on Tuesday and I said yes but then I got called into work and he seemed SO UPSET but I offered Sunday for lunch instead and he said sure! Apparently I asked him multiple times where we were going- don’t remember/ but he said Shadows on The Hudson- GORGEOUS place right on the Hudson River that he always wanted to take me to. Before going he asked if I could try something out- he’s a teacher- and he was doing an invisible ink project with his students and wanted to make sure that they worked so he made a coloring book of all the things that represent our relationship. Then it just... ended- the coloring book- we went to lunch, came back and he cleared off a spot on the table for a game but “remembered” that he forgot the final page. It was a connect the dots of our symbol (^._.^) with a box that asked the question and there he was on his knee! I LOVE that he waited until we got home

Mutual proposal. We just sat down and started talking about our future and we started talking about getting married and then we started planning and now we have a date lol and most of the stuff figured out.

We were on a trip to Spain and it was the second to last night. He made reservations at a Michelin starred restaurant. He disappeared while I was getting ready, but came back. After we ordered, he got up and went to the bathroom. He took forever and I was kind of annoyed lol but like4 waiters came back with him. I was confused that one had his phoy, but I saw the ring box and started bawling. When he disappeared earlier he had set it up and the phone was because he had broadcast it on FB Live for everyone at home (he'd been telling them for MONTHS!!!!)

Well, the original plan was to go to Vegas for new years, he was going to propose there, but couldn't find anyone to take pictures (I wanted a picture of the engagement). So then we decided to go with his parents to Nashville for new years. He was going to propose a day or two before new years, but the girl who was going to take the pictures broke her camera (and wasn't even in town when she said she would be). He couldn't find anyone to replace her because they were either out of town, busy, or charged an arm and a leg for something that would take max of 10 minutes. Like I'm talking $200, ridiculous. Anyway, I got a little upset just because I knew it was supposed to happen, but didn't know why it didn't at the time. So fast forward to January 3rd, he took me to Knoxville for dinner and proposed after dinner by the river. He had one of his friends take the pictures/video and it was dark, so those were terrible. I would have rather taken the no photographer in Nashville had I known the photographer thing was going to be such an issue. Haha. But it was as perfect as it could get, as long as I get to marry my best friend, that's all that matters! I kind of wish to relive that moment because it was kind of a blur.

I told him I hired photographer to get some great pictures. We go to these amazing places and never get the best pictures. I proposed on a cliff in Santorini overlooking the Aegean Sea. We are getting married on June 8th, one year to the day I proposed.

He proposed in Malibu at a private beach. We had reservations to eat at a cafe, but before we went in, we took a stroll along the shore. I found roses on the sand that led to a giant heart made of flowers. He proposed and of course I said YES.

My proposal was funny because we used to always joke about getting married. So when we were at the movies he started saying things like thats about to be us, Mind you, at this point in my head Im like yeah ok. He said are you ready to change your last name? I was like you play too much laughing, and joking because thats what we always did.

After he stared at me for like 2 minutes with a straight face i knew he was serious. So he just got down on one knee in the movie theater and said Are you ready to change your last name? He took my hand and said we are Ready now. Lets do it. Start planning and you can have anything you want!!!

And here are... 79 days left until we say I do!

But in August we went to Disney with his family and it was the first night we go to magic kingdom and go on a few rides. When we first walked in the park his dad went missing cuz he was looking for a photographer. His mom tried for one too. So I thought it was normal cuz they always take a ton of pictures. anyway were walking back to the castle after we got off splash mountain(lmao) we go to this one spot at cinderellas castle, the wishing well. I was taking pics of them and all. Then his mom says go with Kevin and he gets down on one knee and asks me to marry him. He did such a cute speech. It was magical!!

My husband and I were a few months away from celebrating the 3rd anniversary of our very first date. I had actually gone wedding dress shopping that morning because he had told me I could start wedding planning. I ended finding my dream dress that morning. Later that day he surprised me by taking me to pick peaches in the orchard where we had our first date nearly 3 years before. I thought maybe something might happen, but after about an hour of being there I had kinda brushed it from my mind. He lead me to a place on the property that not many people know about (a place we discovered together on our first date) down by a pond and some beautiful old weeping willow trees. He asked me if I was sure I didn't want us to write our own vows at our wedding. We had talked about it previously and I told him I didn't want to do our own vows because I was sure I wouldn't be able to make it through without crying my eyes out. And then he stopped and said "Ok well then I am going to say my vows to you now since we won't do it at the wedding." As soon as he said that I knew what was happening. I started to cry as he recited his vows from memory and got down on one knee. It was the absolute best day.

Christmas eve: My mom, my son and I had given FH a joint Christmas Gift of a sweat shirt that said I'm not the step-dad, I'm the dad who stepped up. He put on the sweatshirt and said there was something wrong with it. After a few minutes of me not getting it he stated, "I am not a step-dad yet." He reached into the Christmas tree and attempted to get on one knee (he is a disabled vet so it was very hard) and popped the question.
