We spent a week in Mendocino and he surprised me at the end of a hike. It was magical 🤗 I had a selfie stick and was taking pictures during the hike, so I just happened to catch a photo of him standing above the river where he was about to propose 💕

We were in Glenwood Springs, CO. He proposed at the top of a hike to Hanging Lake. It was beautiful and totally us.

We bought our first home November 2017 so a year from the date- The kids and I showed up from work/school to the house.... The fireplace was going and the table was set for 4 with a home cooked meal he made for us. Next to my plate was a glass of wine. He couldn't have picked a more perfect way to do it. I always told him I didn't want him to ever choose to do it in a public place, because I don't like all that attention.

So it was perfect for us.

My FH proposed the night before our 10 day trip to CA to visit his family. It also was the start of my birthday weekend. He convinced me to meet him after work for a celebratory dinner at our favorite restaurant (I really didn't want to because I still needed to pack). After dinner we walked the nearby waterfront talking about our trip. He asked what I was looking forward to while we were gone. And in his true cheesy fashion, he said, "I think this moment will be your favorite...."

He took me to the restaurant where we had our first date but I didn't really think anything of it since it was his birthday and we had been back to that restaurant a few times before. He dropped on one knee and proposed outside before going in!

Mine told me we were going to dinner, just us, for my birthday but little did I know he spent months planning a surprise birthday party/ proposal with all of our closest friends and family. He asked my 7 year old daughter if he could be in her life forever and gave her a ring and then I realized what was happening!! It was so surreal and I’ll never ever forget that night!!

He proposed at the top of the mountain during a snowboarding trip in Tahoe. Ultimately I later found out that he planned the trip specifically so he could propose. He said he didn’t want to wait until the following year when we would have planned a trip to go.

What a cute story!! He put a lot of thought into that!

My FH and I took a stroll through one of the local forest preserves so i could take photos with my newish camera.
We always joke he's my shot spotter. We were by these flowers and he said oh, what about a photo here, that would be a nice shot.
So while I was taking that he says this one next! And I turned around and he was down on one knee with the ring out.
I didnt get that photo though because my brain shut down!

We were at a restaurant for my fiancee sister birthday party. After everyone finished eating he sat down in front of me and went down on one knee and proposed in front of our family. I was so shocked that I couldn't say nothing at the time. His cousin asked me what do I say. I said yes. I wasn't expecting it especially at his sister birthday party.

We have a yearly tradition of going to see the Nutcracker on the date of 1st date Dec 17th and that night we went to see the ballet and then back to this beautiful historical hotel where there's this famous romantic restaurant. After dessert he made a beautiful speech about how much he loves me and then opened the box and asked the question and after crying I said yes!

I had 3 surprises for him for his BIG 30. The first, a gold watch he wanted, 2nd was a private helicopter lesson for him. (He was beyond excited for this one/plus he did very well) lastly it was a surprise dinner at a restaurant with his close friends and our immediate family . I made reservations around 8:30 to give the guests time to arrive so we had about 2 hours to spare soooo I told him we would have to go back home for a bit before our reservation. I get home and there was rose petals and candles lit everywhere! I thought it was one of his cute romantic ways etc. I then get to the living room where there were the magic words!!!!! I was soooooo in shock!! He doesnt have an ounce of selfishness in him! This day was all about surprising him for his big 30 and he ended up surprising me!!!!! ( Little did I know he picked up the ring that morning drove to my parents to ask for their blessing .) I wish I could relive that moment over and over and over!

He proposed at Love Park in Philadelphia in front of dozens of strangers. We were taking a picture and then he goes, “let’s change poses” and gets down on one knee. I was so shocked I didn’t even hear was he said.

After the proposal, we got back on the road and stopped at the first place we saw to have a toast. It was such an emotional moment - I was on such a buzz from the excitement and we both started happy crying in the restaurant. Everyone there must have thought we were crazy. I regret not going "we just got engaged!!" when I saw people staring, but honestly I was in my own little world!

Oh, I would have loved a scavenger hunt and puzzle! How fun!
We went to the mountains for Valentine's weekend. We stayed at a cute bed and breakfast.

When we went to dinner that night we had to wait to be seated. He kept fidgeting with his pants leg( he had my ring in his boot)

When we got back to the room, he lit the fireplace and said" Babe, you know I love you right?"
He then got on his knee and pulled out the ring box and opened it. I kept saying" What does this mean?"
He then said" will you be mine forever, will you Marry me?"

He told me later that he wanted to ask me in the restaurant, but he was nervous because of the crowd.
He also told me he had the ring for six months and was looking for the right moment.

It was very sweet and I was very surprised although while getting ready that night I was so nervous for no reason ....I even told him I was nervous lol.
Maybe, I picked up on his nervous vibes
