Hello! Super new here. I’m getting married in Vegas in February, with no guests, no big fuss… but I have found myself getting so very stuck on what to wear! I’ve tried on a number of gowns and dresses, with more on the way to try on. I am realising that, while traditional wedding dresses are stunning, they just aren’t me.
I tend to gravitate towards more colourful clothes with fun details, and found myself loving a couple of prom dresses! I felt amazing when I tried them on, but as a 30-something year old woman with Responsibilities, greying hair, and a brain that likes to keep me awake at 02:00 to remind me of all my embarrassing decisions, I am worried that I should pick something a bit more bridal.
So - I’m kindly requesting your wisdom and thoughts on this matter. Below are the two prom dresses I really loved. What do you think? Too prom-y? Acceptable in Vegas? Your most honest thoughts and gut reactions are truly welcome!
