Professional Make-up for Engagement Photos

I wear makeup on regular basis, but it’s more natural & I'm not one of those contouring or smokey eye experts lol. I did several photo shoots in the past & every time I did my own HMU they looked excellent in photos. So I’ll do the same for our engagement photos. I personally don’t like the hassle of HMUA, because I always end up micromanaging them 😆

If you can use engagement session as your HMU trial, or if you’re clueless about HMU, then I would go with a professional! If you know your stuff & you’re not going for over the top super glammed up look, I think you’ll be fine doing it yourself.

Yes. I did a natural look. You could tell I had on makeup but it wasn’t super glammed.

I love the idea of Ulta/Sephora but we are taking our e-pics out at/around our venue and it's kind of out in the middle of no-where so my only option for make-up/hair other than a salon is myself. I will probably do Ulta/Sephora for my Bridal portraits though...that's a fantastic idea!!

I'll call around to a couple salons today and get some numbers and check availability, it will be a weekday afternoon so not too worried about a time slot. I'm leaning towards just getting it all done. These photos will be on our STD's, wedding website, social media and in our home as well as our parents.

Im getting a professional make-up artist to do my face for my engagement pixs because that will be my mua trial for the wedding... My hair will be done maybe in braids..

But its gonna be a natural look imma add lashes4the extra look but imma go all out for the wedding

Ours are in June and Im hiring a nakeup professional. I do my makeup as well but I want it to be epic lol
