Processional order help

Samantha, on March 8, 2020 at 3:21 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 4

I am having a difficult time figuring out a processional order for our ceremony. We are doing a non religious ceremony. Here are two possibilities I'm thinking -

Officiant, Groom are at the alter

1. Grooms parents

2. BM and Groomslady

3. BM and Groomsman

4. MOH and Best man

5. Flower Girl and my mom - our 2.5 year old daughter is our flower girl and there is NO way she will go for walking down the aisle alone so I am trying to figure out the best way to go about this and not try to force her down the aisle alone and have a disaster. My mom will happily walk with her. Its really not "traditional" but we don't really care about that but if anyone has any other ideas/suggestions that would be great!

6. My dad and I

I like the first one but think either could work. It's just a matter of if you prefer to have people paired off or not, because you'd have six "sets" of people processing either way. I'm not one to think everyone needs to be paired off, but because it works nicely with your wedding I think having all of your "sets" be pairs is nice.

You can do any processional order you want. I'm personally not having any parents (except my dad who is my escort).
