Procession order for ceremony (grandparent)

Nicole, on February 13, 2020 at 12:32 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 4

Hey, so my FH's grandparents are all deceased. I still have 3 grandparents, but my fathers parents cant make it so my moms mother will be the only grandparent. I'm going to have her walk down the aisle with my only "bridesman" (2 birds with that one). From memory of other weddings, and just my initial thinking, was the order would be my FH's parents, then my grandmom, then my mom (escorted by FH). Now I'm seeing that grandparents should go first... It makes more sense to me to keep the families together and for my grandmom to walk down right before my mom. Is this a "do what you want it's your wedding situation" or is it extremely taboo?
