I’m married! Our wedding day was absolutely amazing and was truly the happiest day of my life! I’m including highlights/things I wish we could do over and a budget.
When: 10/19/19Where: My father’s home, Rome, GA. Outdoor ceremony/reception Weather: RAINY!!
Highlights:The food was incredible! We had a local private school cater and the food was a hit!
The photographer was wonderful!
We danced our butts off!
Our first look was so perfect! I was so nervous, but felt so in love with my husband when we first saw each other. After that, I was so excited!
We were able to visit with all 60 people at our wedding!
My sister freestyle rapped for her maid of honor toast. It was EPIC!
The rain actually made for some great pictures!
Do-overs:
The DJ was meh. My original DJ canceled 3 weeks before. I had to hire a “non-pro.” The music was from a Pandora playlist. He kept interrupting me throughout the evening to ask questions, even after I referred him to my coordinator. Oh well! We ended up doing karaoke after all the older/non-family guests left. It was fun!
I didn’t get to eat much!
Our wedding night hotel accidentally canceled our reservation. We had to travel 1.5 hours home in our wedding clothes.
Overall, it was perfect!!
