Now that the craziness has settled and I’m back to work, I’ll share about our wedding! We got married on September 21 in Indiana, PA. The weather ended up being like summer weather rather than September weather so that was a little rough for our outdoor ceremony and pictures but we made the best of it! No rain was my wish and that came true! We did a short and sweet ceremony. We wrote our own vows and did a wine & love letter ceremony. Hubby even cried when he saw me!

I have no complaints on our day!! Everything went so smooth, perfect, and stress free.

My parents helped pay for a lot of the wedding, my husbands family paid for alcohol, flowers, and rehearsal dinner, and we paid for several things as well. I’m not even sure what all we spent since we had many people paying for different things, but probably between 16,000-18,000. We were engaged for over 2 years and it helped us save all the money that we needed to pay for our parts!

My advice is to soak up every minute of planning and getting ready! It all goes so fast. And enjoy your honeymoon after! We did a cruise so no phones and it was the best thing ever to just spend a week with my husband with no distractions at all!

I bought the flannels at Walmart. They are men’s flannels that are $8. Then I personalized the pocket and the back!

Thank you! Those were the ones I was looking at too. I wanted to keep it all under $10. I don't think I'm going to personalize mine though and I'd like them to be oversized. Did you guys size up a couple or just get the size that actually fit you. I have girls ranging from a size 6 to a size 18 and I want them all to feel comfortable.

Most of us got mediums which was big but not oversized. One girl got an XL which fit her well. Everyone said how comfortable they were and loved them. The only bad part was wearing them after the salon to the venue because but then it was very hot out! But it worked out

Okay, this was a lovely Wedding date twin!

It seems geared to fall.

Ours was more of a Summer type since the 21st was the last Saturday of the Summer.

What color is your dress? It looks like the underlay is a bit of a different shade. I just ordered my dress and it's ivory lace with a cream underlay and I'm panicking a little about the two tone. Yours looks gorgeous though!
