Our day went great, a few minor hiccups but nothing major. We were able to bring our decorations and arch up the day before the wedding. the country club set everything up for us on the day. the country club also had bride and groom suites so we saved money on limos by getting ready at the country club (I drove me and my husband home at the end of the night lol). My husband did forget the rings at our house (Thank God I thought to text him about it) and my dad had to stop at our house on the way to the venue and pick them up for us. We were worried the whole week leading up to the wedding because the forecast called for rain. We were tapped out as far as money and could not afford to tent (would have been an extra 1800), so we decided to risk it and have our outdoor ceremony. The radar showed no rain for our 6:00pm ceremony so we proceeded. It did rain for 30 seconds at the very end of our ceremony but then stopped so we were able to take pictures. Also, our guests were great sports and laughed through the rain with us. During the reception we did have two no-show guests and one had to leave early due to illness. But we did have a wedding crasher, my husbands employee from work but I didn't even notice him so I didn't mind. Our venue had no option for a true open bar so we pre-paid the bar and it lasted until 10:30 then switched to cash for the remainder of our reception (went until midnight). Our dance floor was pretty packed the whole night which is exactly what we wanted. People are still telling us that the food was great, which is nice to hear because we really didn't eat. I didn't even get a piece of cake until we were back from our honeymoon (besides the tiny piece my husband fed me for pictures). I wish we could go back and do our day over and over because it went so quick!
