I decided to cut my "cocktail hour" down to a 20 minute transition between the ceremony and reception, because the appetizers my venue had available were very pricey to have a full cocktail hour. So instead, I booked a pretzel wall! So people can snack on those as they grab a drink and find their seat before toasts. I'm so excited! All together it's 1/2 the cost of what a stupid cheese and cracker tray would have been, and it has faux succulents behind it, which makes it extra adorable!

This is awesome. I would get full on pretzels alone. Screw the main course.

It's true. She can't run the succulents through a dishwasher. She does remove them from the wall and dunk them in soapy water and then rinses them off . I'll live dangerously. Smiley tongue

I think this is one of those "know your crowd". I know my guest woukd be dissapointed if we don't deliver the full with all powers cocktail hour. I think (for us) it is one of the most memorable parts of the wedding, we may even extend ours a little but haven't decided yet. That said, I do think it is very pretty and an awesome idea! YUM!

We're only having a 4 hour reception, and it's craft beer and wine. No hard liquor. And we're having fried chicken, mashed potatoes/gravy, green beans, salad and rolls, so

I feel like pretzels suit the occasion. Also it's at a nature lodge, so not like a swanky deal.
