I have thought for the last ten years (back when I wanted to become a florist) how beautiful dried flowers are. Well, I have been preserving and drying most of my flowers I recieve from my family, s/o and unfortunately from my passing patient's I do in-home hospice care with. It is so incredibly exciting that i am finally getting everything together for my wedding next Oct🤍 these particular flowers are from my Aunts funeral due to her passing this past Christmas. I am going to be having a rememberance table for all I wish could be there, but were taken too soon.

I have seen some absolutely gorgeous dried flower bouquets. Peep Etsy for extra inspiration but I think this is also a beautiful way for your bouquet to have more meaning as these flowers were collected throughout significant events in your life!

I would prefer dried flowers over fake plastic/silk ones any day. Those photos you shared are so pretty!

Do you have any tips for drying a bridal bouquet if I wanted to preserve it, other than just hanging it upside down in a well ventilated area?

Oh i totally agree! Thank you! I wasnt 100% sure on how to do them, i did do them in a extremely dark, well ventilated area. I put them in the far back of a closet that isnt really in use. But i also found out how to do them in silica gel too and did a few bundles in there.
I recommend if you would do like a shadow box and maybe not keep all of the stem to do some in silica get and then spray clear acryllic over them.
