Happy thanksgiving!

Are any of you doing pre-marital counseling? I wanted to sign up for the online counseling sessions through prologue.com because it would be best with our busy schedules, and it looks actually pretty fun and interactive. I am having trouble getting FH on board, he has it in his mind that only couples with problems do pre-marital counseling. That is not the case for us, we have an amazing relationship but I think it would be a good bonding experience and there's always more ANY couple could learn about effective communication, problem solving, etc.

Any advice or good experiences with counseling?

Did it, loved it. We didn't really have any issues at the time either but it was a great bonding experience and encouraged us to explore the decisions/conversations we had already made/had a little more in depth. I absolutely support it.

We did it, and even though we don't really have any big problems, we still found it beneficial. We learned communication techniques and how to deal with the extra stress on the relationship from wedding planning. Even if you and your FH don't have any problems, what's the harm in bettering yourselves? (That's how I'd frame it to him.)

    Good luck!

DH and I loved our premarital counseling,we had a lot of fun. It was nice to say things out loud, even if we already knew how each other felt

We are 8 sessions into a 12 session course, and we love it!! Highly recommend you do it in person (as have other ladies above). Good luck in getting him to come around Smiley smile
