Hey guys, I have noticed an interesting happening with wedding vendors and was wondering if anyone had the same problem. Back in April/May when I was looking for a venue I emailed about 15 places, and only 3 responded.
Over the past 2 months I have been emailing caterers for quotes. I include my name, email, phone number, the date and time I am looking for them to cater, location of my wedding, what kind of set up I want, and menu options I liked on their website. Basically everything I would think they would need to either say, "Sorry, we are not available to do that", "The quote is $XXXX", or "Let's call/meet up/something to talk or taste". Out of the about 20 I have messaged, 2 have replied. And, I'm not expecting them to reply right away. I am talking about not responding after a week or two. I feel like I shouldn't have to pester someone in order to give them money. Is there something more I should be doing or is this normal?
