Should I postpone my June 6th 2020 wedding?? All of this craziness with the COVID-19 virus has me nervous. My bridal shower was suppose to be April 25th we are still up in the air about that! I just don't know what to do and am looking for guidance is it to early to postpone??

Hi there, so sorry you are going through this too, you're not alone! I've just posted a lengthy message regarding this issue. I think it would really help you to read it.

Oh I am so sorry you are also going through this!! My shower was also on April 25th, and I already let the ladies know it was cancelled two weeks ago Smiley sad My wedding is June 20th in Los Angeles, and I have already picked a backup date with my venue of August 7th. I am in the process of creating a digital postponement announcement to send to everyone. June just seems too soon, and I also don't see how I will have any time to be able to have my shower and bachelorette party before June 20. It's really stressful, trust me, but once you commit to just postponing and pick a new date, you start feeling some relief. For me, it's really about being able to have time to have all my pre-wedding events Smiley smile

My date is June 6th as well! I haven't decided on what to do yet. I don't think I'll make any decisions until the end of April too. I do have a plan B (and C and D and E....) though just in case. I know FOR SURE that we WILL get married on June 6th, no matter what due to the fact that we are scheduled to move 1,000 miles away one week after! Eeeeek! The ceremony/reception might just not look exactly like we planned - eh that's life! I was scheduled to have my bachelorette in Disney the last weekend of May. Not sure if that is even going to happen either. I was thinking about having it after the wedding, but at the same time just now sure how that'll work out. My shower was supposed to be in May but I'm guessing we'll just have to do a ZOOM one? Not sure. There is just so much that is unknown at this point. Taking things day by day is such great advice! Anyways, I am HOPEFUL for our date and I wish you the best! Hugs!! Smiley smile
