Postponement Brides

Lunajay, on March 22, 2020 at 3:34 PM Posted in Community Conversations 1 11

I'm so sorry for all those that had to cancel or postpone your weddings. FH and I Are also concerning postponing the wedding or eloping instead. There is a YouTuber/Wedding coordinator name Jamie Wolfer that I watch faithfully but she has advice about the COVID-19 and what to do if it effects your wedding day. I hope she can offer some great advice to y'all.

I am sorry to hear that you had to postpone seems will be the majority of us 2020 wedding bride and grooms

When was your wedding planned for? Ours is in June , seriously contemplating on either postponing or just eloping and have a small party afterwards. The venue is advising we can postpone either to Fall 2020 or 2021 but neither of us really want to have a fall wedding or wait for summer 2021. I know have some time to decide but I hightly doubt things will have calmed down by June,

Hi fellow brides! I need help! I had to postpone my wedding which was supposed to be May 30th due to COVID19 unfortunately. Now i'm left with more than 200 wedding invitations that do not work anymore since i've changed my date. Does anyone have creative ideas for way i can still utilize them for something else? Open to anything!

Can you add an additional card? I'd do business cards or something cheaper and put change the date on it!

My Fiance and I are in the same boat... We are just waiting for the venue to tell us if we have to postpone or not. We are scheduled for 05/24. All events at my venue are cancelled up till 5/11 So we are on the "wait and see". The anticipation is literally killing me!

What about turning them into place cards or something like that? Or shred them up and use as confetti at the new date lol? Best of luck, we'll probably be postponing our wedding as well.

My daughters wedding was scheduled for 4/10...and yeah they are postponing, so far all vendors have been fabulous, so there is that...no new date has been set.

Sad but hopeful it will be later this year.
