Post wedding anxiety?

Has anyone else experienced this, because I feel like I'm freaking out a bit... for likely no reason. Has anyone else experienced this, because I feel like I'm freaking out a bit... for likely no reason. The day was beautiful and multiple people have told me I looked beautiful, the food was amazing and it was one of the best if not the best of weddings they've been to. Sounds great and I should be happy, but...

I have since been obsessing over hating my hair and makeup, worrying that my photographer didn't get good or enough shots. We were supposed to take family photos early so we wouldn't miss our cocktail hour. Instead we stood around doing nothing for and hour and half and we missed our cocktail hour anyway. I feel like the night went too quickly and I didn't mingle enough (I spent most of the night on the dance floor, trying to keep people on the dance floor). It's over and there's no take backs so I don't know why I have anxiety over all this but I do.

I know this is an old thread but I have to chime in. I can’t explain how relieved I am to see these messages. For me, the shoulda coulda woulda” feelings have completey taken over my wedding memories AND my free time.

I got married prertt young (25). And I was the first of all my friends. I have always wanted a tiny simple wedding but as soon as the planning began it turned into a gigantic fancy thing. Very inflated guest list (200 people). Happy to say I had my sister and lifelong friends as bridesmaids beside me, but unfortunately got bullied into having my crazy and difficult sister in laws as well. 10 total. Huge!

My in laws are really difficult and I think the stress and anxiety of planning a day with unpredictable people is really hard.

have to say our church was beautiful (never pictured getting married in a church but I did it for my hubby and it was fine). Our venue was an old mansion which turned out beautiful as well! I can’t tell you the number of complements we received. But somehow I am still searching for flaws! I should’ve invited less people, I shouldn’t have made it so expensive, I should’ve put my foot down about the bridesmaids. Should’ve savored the dance with my dad longer. The list goes on and never ends. I keep telling myself “if I was doing it now it would be so different”

I was married 1.5 years ago. Idk what my deal is! We got pregnant soon after and now have a 6 month old baby. I was hoping this was all hormonal but doesn’t seem to be getting better.

Yes. I get anxious about my wedding reception. When I think of the reception I think of stress and regret of all the stress abs money spent. I was stressed the whole time and I felt like I spent the majority of the night on the dance floor trying to get people to dance.

I have the same fact feeling as you!! Everyone loved our wedding too and it all looked pretty… I also got married young at 21 actually and I’m starting to realise I may have regrets because I was too young to stand my ground about things I really wanted
