Has anyone ever had somewhat of a dress regret? Don't get me wrong I do love the dress I bought. But I had my heart set on a blush pink dress and the one I ended up purchasing is ivory. Just purchased it in April but as I see pictures of blush pink ones I get sad because mine is not. My plan is to dye all the tulle underneath blush pink but I'm scared that won't still won't be enough. Would love anyone's thoughts on if they've had any sort of experience where they bought a dress later wishing they kept looking for that one characteristic they really wanted.

I envisioned beaded lace and ended up with the whole opposite of just plain satin! I'm still bummed about it although it's been two months but I'm sure once my wedding day comes and I have the dress on I'll remember exactly why I chose it! Stuff doesn't always go as you plan and a lot of times it's for the better! Smiley smile

I think it's beautiful on you! you could always add a bright pink ribbon belt to it.

Girl stop looking at dresses. i love my dress but when i see another im like..omg i should have bought that one...lol at the end, it is just a dress and it is not what is most important. feel comfortable with yourself and know that you made the right decision, do not second guess yourself. it is totally normal.

@Alicia S. I think you're right, about stress needing an outlet. And I do need to stop looking at other dresses. Darn pinterest keeps showing them on my homepage! lol

@Meaghan M.I do have pictures in it and when I look at all the random ones my mom took when I wasn't paying attention, I see how I was at the time and can tell I was happy. I'm am definitely not a fru-fru dress person, just a simple maxi dress in the summer, and I remember telling my mom I felt like a princess and remember feeling so comfortable.

@Kate I ordered it in late April, so hasn't been all that long, but it only came in ivory. But I have been doing some research this morning and instead of trying to dye anything I think I'm going to try to just make my own tulle petticoat for underneath in the color I wanted and hopefully it doesn't make it too heavy.

@Cass I definitely got a dress completely opposite of what I envisioned myself in. I was dead set on straps because I'm not a strapless fan because the ole girls are large and in charge haha. But this was the first thing I've ever put on in my entire life that I didn't have a bra on and I felt great! So I guess it was meant to be haha.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments and input. I think it definitely helps knowing there are other brides out there that went through the same thing or are going through it. I have horrible OCD and anxiety so I think that's playing into the whole "did I make the right decision"? "what if I don't love it when it comes in?" kind of questions. This bride stuff is stressful! haha

I have the same regret. Tried the dress on in moscato and ordered ivory. Regretted it and called the store shortly after but was told I couldn’t make any changes. So frustrating!
