I would just measure it to make sure it's large enough for the cake to sit on it (I'm assuming it would go on that top part?). Also, it doesn't look that big from the picture, so I would think about if its feasible as a table to eat off of on regular basis, especially with that upper tier. However, it if it fits the cake and will later fit your lifestyle, it sounds like a great idea!

Our cake is 8 inches and we'll have a mix of regular and mini cupcakes as well and the sizing is.... size / dimensions: 29" H 16" top. 22" lower shelf

I have a table just like this at home. I can't see it being used as a dining room table, even with the top tier removed, as it's just really small. We have it in our entryway, and it catches all the keys, mail, purses, when people come home at the end of the day. Your may be bigger, but it doesn't look like it in the picture. Looks like the exact same table I have.

I do think it can be a cute piece at the wedding for your cake and/or desserts.

I would advise you double check the measurements before purchasing to make sure it will be a suitable dining table after the wedding. If Cristy is right, and it is the exact same table she has, it might not work as a dining table! Better to find out now than be disappointed down the line Smiley smile
