Does anyone have experience with Pop up weddings? They seem too good to be true.

My FBIL had one a few years ago. They host 3-4 weddings in a day at the same venue. They had flowers, officiant, cake, cocktail hour food/drink, photography/videography and all the decor at the venue included for 35 guests. It worked out well for them because they didn't want to deal with the planning and because the vendors and decor are there all day it works out a bit cheaper in theory because the costs are split between the other couples.

You still need to plan a reception at a different venue and are limited in your number of guests but you get pinterest pretty pictures without doing the work.

‘I mean, most people are only going to get married once. Why would you want anything out of your control?’

Because some people are super busy and not everyone cares about having control over every minute detail of a wedding.

After watching one on Cheapest weddings, it would make me nervous. If you are late or the ceremony runs late for any reason, you would lose very precious time. That's only my opinion, most of my family is late to everything!

I've seen them featured on the news in my city (Toronto). They seem nice for people on a very limited budget, who aren't picky about the details at all and have no interest in planning, and who are fine with a small / short celebration.
