Poll: How soon did you ask the bridal party? and more

I asked 4--my closest cousin and 3 lifelong best friends. I called them a day or two after I was engaged; I actually broke the news by asking if they'd be willing to wear a metallic lamé dress for me, if I asked. x-P (The ironic thing is that the one other dancer I asked actually didn't know the fabric name, so out of all the girls, SHE, the one who grew up wearing silly dance outfits, was the one who got confused! lol!)

So far, there haven't been any major issues. There was a moment where one girl set her own wedding date extremely close to my own date, and another moment where a girl thought that one of her other friends would be able to tag along to the long-distance venue, just to do her hair (um...), but other than that, it's been fine. Of course, we haven't had any extreme trials yet, so I just hope things stay cool!

Few days later I asked my MOH (we were all on vacay together), then the other 2 BM 1-2months later (8 months before wedding). There has been a change that was completely understandable, and honestly I kinda wish I only had my MOH. There was just too much drama and a few choice comments on BM part a few weeks back.
