I remember when we were little

All the things we used to do

All the secrets we shared

All the rough times we went through

I look back and see how much you've been there

Now we're both grown

Each into our own

Versions of what we should be

I'm so proud of you

And the person you strive to be

Today's your big day

We're not kids anymore

It's the start of your life

Your best friend

I'll lend you an ear

Just a phone call away

To give you encouragment

And Brighten your day

Because the kind of friendship

That we've grown

Gives you comfort

That you'll never be alone

for my best friend on her wedding day...

I think that is a great and thoughtful idea! I made a scrapbook for my sister for her wedding and had all of her friends (working from the list she gave me for the bachelorette party) send in stories, letters to her, recipes, and pictures. Each one of them had a section... she loved it!

Soo I'm SUPER bored at work at the moment so this gave me a great project! I came up with this...

We are all so honored to be your maids

And we are counting down the days

Kelsie, that is PERFECT!! Especially since we're doing the same--each girl has their own page and in it we're including pictures with the bride, little quotes and recipes! Normally I can come up with this kind of stuff (cute little rhyming/poem-y things) but today wasn't my day apparently!

I just found like a 9 page thing of poems... I bawled haha

When you were a girl, and full of bright dreams,

you played in the sun; you shone in its beams.

And one of the most magical games you would play,

we would all call it, "My Wedding Day".

With a sheet for a veil, and a slip for a gown,

high heeled shoes on your feet, and a small plastic crown.

Clutched in your hands, a yellow bouquet,

dandelions were perfect for your special day.

A groom would be nice, but he wasn't a must,

since most of the boys were all covered in dust.

You held your head up as you walked down the aisle,

your crown now askew, your face wore a smile.

The years have passed by, and with them it seems,

a fantastical world based soley on dreams.

No longer a girl, but with hope still inside,

the child has grown and is now a real bride.

The ladies you've chosen to honor today,

are thankful and ready to now lead the way.

We'll walk out before you, we'll hold our heads high,

And don't be surprised if some of us cry.

Aaaaand, I'm crying! Okay, what is a tactful way to include all of these, hahaha!!
