Pocket Squares?

Our guys are wearing floral ties (Dazi knockoffs) and I'm wondering if we should get a solid color pocket square to match the base color of the ties, floral pocket squares to match (assuming we can find them) or some other color. Are pocket squares necessary?

We’re doing a plain white pocket square. I thought a colored tie, boutonnière and colored tie would be too much.

We're doing the colored pocket square, to match the BM dresses. In fact, many of the places that sell bridesmaids dresses also sell pocket squares to match! So, I'm getting both the ties and pocket squares for the men at the same store where my ladies have purchased their dresses.

They're totally not necessary, Kari. It's all about you and your SO's style. Personally, I would go with a solid color pocket square. Either the base color, or a color I wish to enhance

Thanks! I did a little more research and figured out matching pocket squares are a no-no, so appreciate your good advice. Since they aren't really necessary, it's probably a last minute detail we'll bother with if we have the time and money and find something that works without too much work, or we'll just skip it!
