Plus size brides in getting-ready robes?

I've seen lots of plus size brides in those robes.

I'm planning on wearing a robe and being pampered, thank you very much!!

I wore regular clothes. I was too sick to even care if I looked cute while getting ready.

We wore our jammies. Lol. Just made sure we had button up shirts on so wouldn't wreck hair or make up.

We knew it was going to be a long day and wanted to be comfy. I wouldn't be comfy in a satin robe worrying it would slip

I'm a size 12 and I wore one. They come in bigger sizes... I just wore a tank top under it and some white satin shorts. It was fine!

Ebay, Etsy, most major stores have them. Most sites have them in plus size.

I was in jeans and a flanel though because fuck it.

I think they still look good if that's what you want to wear, maybe just not as many places sell them in more sizes. I wore a chambray shirt and leggings I already owned.

I'm wearing an oversize white tank top and my leggings. Just being comfy.

I'm not comfortable in a robe in my every day life, no way I'm being photographed in one lol. I'm wearing one of my dad's favorite button downs as a way to include him in photos (he passed away) and I just ordered some uber comfy-looking sweatpants that will say "Mrs. Atwood" down the leg.

I will probably wear jeans and a t-shirt (deep v so it doesn't ruin my hair) or shorts and a t-shirt if it's hot. And I'm not plus sized. You just wear whatever you damn well please.

TBH I think those robes look chintzy on everyone.

I will be buying + Customizing button ups for my girls, my mom, & myself to wear with whatever anyone Wants to wear on the bottom.

I wore a button down shirt that I never tried on with my slip. It was too tight. Needed my slip on before hair and make up because it had to go over my head. My photographer said she didn't take quite a few shots she wanted because of the way my shirt was gaping.

My advice is to try on whatever you will wear underneath with what you choose, same as getting fitted for your dress. And make sure you can move around and lift your arms in it as well.

We are doing rompers. Two bridal party members are plus size including myself.

I will be wearing a robe. Probably not the silk one, but a jersey knit material...and probably black.

I am ordering yoga pants with our names on them and button down Jammie tops! I am way more comfortable in yoga pants than a robe any day!

This plus size gal will be wearing one of those robes with "bride" in rhinestones in the back. I got it from Amazon!
