I hate my current wedding dress. i feel like i am only wearing it because it was the

only one in the store that could have fit me. I saw the one i will love to wear on AliExpress.

Can i wear the dress i hate and still have fun? Has this happened to anyone else?

Can you get the dress you want? You deserve to be happy and feel beautiful in your dress.

I am willing to try my best to get the dress i want.. but i dont want the lady who is doing my dress to feel like her work went in vain. i just hate it, i am trying my best to love it. The only place i can get my dress is somewhere online. I am currently so stressed its not funny.

If your budget is used up I’d suggest JJsHouse. They have beautiful dresses for relatively cheap price. If you can’t sell or return your dress maybe you can wear it for the ceremony and then get a reception dress you love?? What is it you don’t like about it?? Is it more than just adding bling?

Is the person making it a close friend or family? I would contact her and let her know it is not what she wants before she finishes and have her do something like what you want. Are you paying or is it for free? Maybe use it as a ceremony dress and get a "reception dress" like what you want.

I just want to warn you about AliExpress.... not all of their dresses are the actual photos of the dress you will receive. You might even end up hating that one. Do you have a photo of your dream dress?

I am not sure what your situation is but unless this person is attending your wedding I would just buy the dress I want.

♥️ I get where you’re coming from completely and it can be an endless exhausting rollercoaster hating how you look in clothes. I think you should keep the dress you have as a backup and go to a different bridal shop or JJsHouse. Its okay that you don’t have a “dream dress” in mind I don’t either. All that matters is that you feel good in what you’re wearing. Keep in mind too that your Fiancé loves you no matter what you’re dressed in. Remember too that when your hair and makeup is gone as well as shoes, it can make an ugly dress work. I personally CANNOT try on any dresses unless I have my hair and makeup done with my heels on it else I’ll hate it.

Ha ha ha thank you so much.. I have been telling myself that maybe because i am just plain jane.. lol he really doesnt care what dress i wear he just wants me to be happy.. I have read some reviews on JJ house and they are just as bad as AliExpress.. But i am definitely keeping that dress as a backup just incase.

Okay well good luck! And remember, hair makeup and heels can make it break a dress. ♥️

I think it’s ok to not wear the one you dislike. Wouldn’t want you feeling uncomfortable and unhappy in what you’re in

Weddings are already stressful enough without adding a dress you hate into the mix. My advice is just say no to the dress and get one you love, if the salesperson is really as nice as you say, she'll understand because she'll want you to feel happy and beautiful on your wedding day. Just be understanding you might not get your money back if it's been awhile since you purchased it or she's already altered it. You might be able to resell it online to get some of the cost back?

Beware of AliExpress. They show pictures of dresses taken from designers and other makers. And if you order there, sort of copy it. Different cheap materials, sometimes ok stitching, but I have seen a couple so poor they looked like a beginners sewing class in 6th grade.

If you post a picture from that website, of the gown you want, size you want ...posters here may be able to tell you the original designer whose design AliExpress is copying. And where you can order the dress from a reputable maker. One that you know will ship the right dress, in time and well made. Also, for price reasons, they may find stores or people ( some here) selling that gown, worn only once. Much less expensive. Try it before pouring money into a dress from China right now, from people known to ship bad work often . Most bridal designs that are not super expensive, are made by several makers, with very slight differences. So people who have seen the dress, or who like to look, may find one like it in your size range. Or a maker like Azazie that takes custom orders for a limited number of styles. Post, with size range. See what happens.

You just have to tell her. You're paying a lot of money and she is a professional - it's her responsibility to deliver what you want!
