Please help with wording for message to parents on ceremony programs...

Former MDLS now Mrs. K, on October 9, 2010 at 5:54 PM Posted in Planning 0 6

I have no talent when it comes to putting thoughtful words together. I know it should come from the heart but both my heart and head are blank. I usually just look at what someone else did so as to maybe trigger some ideas of my own but I am lost without some kind of help. Can you all share with me the programs you used (if you already got married) or the ones you will be using (if you are not married). I'm having trouble with wording to the parents and need a little push/help, thanks!

What wording to the parents? I know of a some brief thank you's like a list of people, but any real wording should be on something more private.

    I put:

    To Our Parents

Thank you for always supporting us throughout the years and for helping create this beautiful day in our lives. Thank you for your patient guidance, your love, and your generosity.

Mrs. Jacques-just out of curiosity, did you make yours or did you have them made. All your stuff turned out looking awesome!

Thank you, I did most of the projects myself.

I made them myself, well I did have the Black Leatherette cut to size and holes punched (for the rhinestone brads) at Kinkos and we just put them together Smiley smile
